Project Manager 

Tauranga, Whakatane   August 2022

 we are currently looking for Project Managers in Tauranga and Whakatane to assist in the delivery of new residential development projects.

As the ideal candidate you would have:

  • Sound training from the ground up; a tertiary qualification in a relevant subject would be advantageous.
  • Understanding of the Construction Contracts Act and the knowledge to apply NZS3910.
  • Proven track record in successful delivery of Roading, Three Waters and Subdivision projects.
  • Be confident and able to manage a variety of projects at any given time.
  • In-depth knowledge of Civil Engineering from pricing, negotiation skills, planning, programming, supervision, survey, client liaison, claiming and construction related safety experience.
  • The ability to identify and resolve construction engineering issues.
  • The ability to confidently manage projects with a value of $25 000 to $3 000 000.
  • Strong people leadership and development skills.
  • Strong and confident communication skills.
  • Health and Safety leadership skills.

As the leader of a small team of up to three team members you will be in charge with daily site management, including all quality and health & safety reporting requirements. The ability to relate well to colleagues and clients is crucial to be successful in this role.

Your can-do attitude and solution-focused approach to arising challenges, will make you fit in effortlessly with the existing teams.

Roading/Earthworks Foreman

Whakatane   August 2022

As the ideal candidate, you will:

  • Hold a Valid Class 2 Drivers License
  • Have WTR endorsement on your license with 5 years machine operating experience
  • Be TC Level 1 trained
  • Hold STMS Level 1 (preferable)
  • Have a minimum of 5 year’s experience in the bulk earthworks and roading sector of the industry
  • Able to work Monday to Friday as well as occasional Saturdays when required
  • Able to tend to call outs based on a rotation roster
  • Be able to work as part of a team

Civil Drainlayer

Tauranga   August 2022

 We are looking for Certified Civil Drainlayers to join our Tauranga based team.

Ideally you will hold a Certified Drainlayer licence and be confident in undertaking all aspects of civil drainlaying.

Your day to day activities will involve drainlaying, leading drainage crews,  benching and haunching, water, wastewater and stormwater system installation.

    Experienced Machine Operators

    Tauranga, Whakatane   August 2022

     We are  on the look out for people who are experienced and licensed to operate excavators, loaders, bulldozers and other heavy machinery.

    Ideally you will have a background in the civil construction and/or drainage industries.

    You will be tasked with operating heavy machinery and using your in-depth knowledge of machinery to implement and deliver best practice operation across our varied sites.

    Class 4/5 Truck Drivers and Digger Operators

    Whakatane    August 2022

     Class 4 and 5 Truck Drivers who hold a clean NZ driver licence and practice health & safety in everything they do. Assistance in call-out work is required, so being based in Whakatane would be preferable.

    Digger Operators with a WTR licence and a minimum of two years’ experience. Previous experience working on a machine equipped with GPS will be of advantage to the applicant.

    Working hours Monday to Friday with the occasional weekend work.

     

      Domestic Drainlayer

      Tauranga   August 2022
